SELF-PACED elearning Options
In response to your requests we offer online FAA accepted International Procedures Initial (21 hours) and Recurrent (8 hours) Courses that comply with FAA Training Statement of Compliance. An FAA-accepted TSOC is a critical component of the Streamlined Part 91 Operational Approval Application. The record of training that you will receive after completing the Initial Course or Recurrent Course can be used to submit with your application for certain LOAs.
We also offer separate Enrichment Courses. These mini-courses are designed to give you a way to get refreshed on a specific topic without attending a full-length Initial or Recurrent Course. Our Enrichment Courses are not to be used in lieu of required training.
Our eLearning courses are not recorded videos of an instructor lecturing from a podium or desk. This is a clean sheet approach incorporating an industry leading Learning Management System with professionally produced graphics. You get the same high quality international procedures training as our virtual live instructor-led courses with the added advantage of covering each topic in greater depth since you are not constrained to a single day. The modules are broken down into approximately 15- to 45-minute discussions with pop quizzes to ensure you are getting the most out of the training.
We use guided lectures incorporating high quality graphics to create context for the topics and minimize using bullet points as much as possible because we know how agonizing “Death by PowerPoint” can be! The integration of ForeFlight and Jeppesen images, computerized flight plans, and our own in-house graphics of FMS and ECDU displays allows us to discuss international procedures and requirements utilizing the very tools that you use in your cockpit.
If you get “stumped” during your training, then we are here to help! In addition to sending questions to us via email, text, and telephone calls, 30West IP training customers also have the option to request a one-on-one session via Zoom with an instructor at any time during the training.
